La Femme return to their first love, New Wave, on “Psycho Tropical Berlin” (Machine), which they combine with an Anglo-Saxon rock sound from the 80s/90s (Rock). The album is a tribute to rock, its effectiveness and timelessness.

After “Psycho Tropical Berlin”, “Mystères” and “Paradigmes”, the band founded by Marlon Magnée and Sacha Got returns with “Rock Machine”, their first album written entirely in English. The new LP was composed during various tours around the world in recent years and is strongly inspired by a series of performances in the United States. “Rock Machine”, equipped with a new electro-arena-rock sound, is a cosmopolitan album ready to seduce an even wider international audience.

With Rock Machine, La Femme continues to develop an unconventional, multidimensional universe with its own sound and aesthetics. The first single, “Ciao Paris”, is a metaphorical farewell to France, with a nod to the YéYé pop of the 60s, peppered with electro-surf. With “Clover Paradise”, the band invites us to a dark, hypnotic dance floor. “Love Is Over” is a haunting new wave ballad reminiscent of the 90s Madchester bands that played at the Hacienda. “Venus” is an irresistible, rousing encounter between Velvet Underground and The Mamas and the Papas. Alongside rock and synthwave sounds, there is also electro (Sweet Babe), disco in UK punk sauce (My Generation) and many other surprises.

Nach «Psycho Tropical Berlin», «Mystères» und «Paradigmes» kehrt die von Marlon Magnée und Sacha Got gegründete Band mit «Rock Machine» zurück, ihrem ersten Album, das vollständig auf Englisch geschrieben wurde. Die neue LP wurde in den letzten Jahren während verschiedener Tourneen auf der ganzen Welt komponiert und ist stark von einer Reihe von Auftritten in den USA inspiriert. «Rock Machine», ausgestattet mit einem neuen Electro-Arena-Rock-Sound, ist ein weltoffenes Album, das bereit ist, ein noch breiteres internationales Publikum zu verführen.
